Project "Strengthening Civil Integration of Avare and Georgian Youth"

The eighth season of the World Religions Club has begun

The eighth season of the World Religions Club has begun! The first meeting of the lecture course was held on March 15 in Kutaisi. The club's guest was the theologian Beka Mindiashvili. The topic of the lecture: "Religion and human being". The first part of the meeting was dedicated to the report and after the break it was a discussion. The project is jointly implemented by the Caucasus Institute for Peace, Democracy and Development and Conrad Adenauer Foundation Program "South Caucasus Political Dialogue".


Local Community and Government for Development

On 26-31 January 2019, in the frames of the project "Local Community and Government for Development", the Caucasus Institute conducted trainings in initiative groups of Adjara, Samtskhe-Javakheti, Shida Kartli and Kvemo Kartli villages. The theme of the training was the project management and donor relationship. 36 representatives of 18 communities took part in the training.

Conference "Politics and Religion in Georgia and Azerbaijan" On September 29, Caucasus Institute for Peace, Democracy and Development held a conference on the topic: "Politics and Religion in Georgia and Azerbaijan". The conference was held at the National parliamentary Library of Georgia. The conference dealt with issues such as religion freedom, state and religion relations and tendencies of religions radicalism in Georgia and Azerbaijan. The conference was held within the framework of the project "Religion, State and Society", funded by National Endowment for Democracy (NED).

Caucasus Institute for Peace, Democracy and Development named among world`s most financially transparent.

Seven Georgian Think Tanks Named Among World`s Most Financially Transparent. A report released today by Transparify examines the financial transparency of 200 think tanks in 47 countries. Transparify analyzed funding information disclosed by these organizations and rated them with a 5star rating system ( with 5 being highly transparent). As was the case last year, the following these Georgian think tanks received the maximum rating of 5 stars, Caucasus Institute for Peace, Democracy and Development named among world`s most financially transparent.
